Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and War Board, a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Camron Wolfe ("War Board," "we," "us," "our"), governing your access to and use of war-board.com, its applications, APIs, and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, clicking to accept, or using the Service, you accept these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Risk Disclosure Statement, each incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to form a binding contract. You may register one account, for yourself only. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account, and you agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. Accounts are personal: no sharing, resale, transfer, or use on behalf of an employer or third party without our written consent.
3. Nature of the Service — no advice, no brokerage, no trading
War Board is a self-directed trading journal, analytics, and discipline-tracking tool. It records, organizes, and analyzes information about trades that you log manually, import from files, or sync from accounts you connect. The Service is informational and educational only.
- War Board is NOT a broker-dealer, futures commission merchant, introducing broker, investment adviser, commodity trading advisor, commodity pool operator, or proprietary trading firm, and is not registered with the SEC, CFTC, NFA, or any other regulator.
- The Service does not provide investment, trading, legal, tax, or accounting advice, or any recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy or sell any instrument.
- All scores, grades, streaks, bias readings, statistics, proximity warnings, AI-generated commentary, and other outputs are informational computations on your own data. They are not predictions and not advice. Every decision you make — including every trade — is yours alone.
- Futures and derivatives trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every person. See the Risk Disclosure tab.
4. Prop-firm rule tracking and data accuracy — important
Portions of the Service estimate your standing against proprietary-trading-firm account rules (for example trailing drawdown, daily loss limits, or consistency ratios) using data you supply or that syncs from accounts you connect. These estimates are informational conveniences only, and you accept the following without qualification:
- Synced data can be delayed, incomplete, duplicated, or wrong; syncing is periodic, not real-time. Firms change rules without notice; our rule models may lag or contain errors; calculations may be inaccurate.
- YOUR FIRM'S OR BROKER'S OWN RECORDS AND DASHBOARDS ARE THE ONLY AUTHORITATIVE SOURCE FOR YOUR BALANCES, POSITIONS, ACCOUNT STATUS, AND RULE COMPLIANCE.
- You agree not to rely on the Service to determine whether any order or trade would comply with or breach any firm or broker rule, and you will not treat any Service warning — or the absence of one — as confirmation of safety.
- War Board has no liability for trading losses, failed evaluations, lost funded accounts, missed warnings, or any outcome connected to reliance on the Service's data, warnings, or analytics.
5. Market data and third-party information
Market, session-bias, and account data reaching the Service originates with third parties (exchanges, brokers, prop-firm platforms, data providers). We do not verify it and are not responsible for its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness, or for interruption, delay, or error in its delivery. Third-party trademarks (including firm and platform names) belong to their owners; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.
6. Your data; license to us
You own the trading data and journal content you put into the Service. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, display, and create derivative computations from that data solely to provide, secure, and improve the Service. We may use data in de-identified, aggregated form (never identifying you and never your credentials) to improve the product. You can export your data (CSV/JSON) at any time. You represent that you have the right to submit whatever you submit.
7. Free trial
New accounts receive a free trial (currently 7 days) with no payment card required. At trial end, paid features are suspended until you subscribe; your data is retained. We may modify or discontinue trials for new accounts at any time.
8. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds
Paid access is a recurring subscription (currently $19 per month plus any applicable taxes), billed through Stripe. Card details go to Stripe; we never receive them. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel anytime via the billing portal; access continues through the period already paid. EXCEPT WHERE REQUIRED BY LAW, FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND THERE ARE NO CREDITS FOR PARTIAL PERIODS OR UNUSED FEATURES. We may change pricing on at least 30 days' notice, effective at your next renewal after the notice period. If a payment fails, we may retry and suspend paid access until cured. You are responsible for taxes we are required to collect.
9. Broker and prop-firm connections (journal sync)
If you connect a brokerage or prop-firm platform account for journaling, you authorize us to use the credentials or tokens you supply to retrieve your fills and account information on a read-only basis. Journal-sync connections cannot and do not place, modify, or cancel orders. Credentials are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and are never sold or shared. You represent and warrant that connecting the account does not violate your agreement with the firm, broker, or platform, and you — not War Board — are responsible for compliance with those agreements. You may disconnect at any time, which stops future syncs. We may suspend a connection that errors, is abused, or creates risk to the Service.
10. Trade copier features
The Service includes, or may include, trade-copier functionality. Two modes exist, with sharply different character:
- PRACTICE (SIMULATED) MODE — currently the only available mode. Practice mode simulates leader-to-follower copying using your own accounts' data. IT PLACES NO ORDERS AND CANNOT PLACE ORDERS. All practice results are hypothetical; see the hypothetical-performance disclosure in the Risk Disclosure tab.
- LIVE COPYING — NOT CURRENTLY OFFERED. If we enable live copying in the future, it will be governed by the Trade Copier Addendum (Section 23 below), which has no effect until live copying is offered and you separately opt in and accept it.
You must not attempt to use practice mode, exports, alerts, or any other Service output as a signal source to drive automated order placement through third-party tools. Any such use is at your sole risk, is unsupported, and is a violation of these Terms.
11. AI-generated content
Some features send data derived from your account to Anthropic, our AI provider, to generate written analysis. What is sent depends on the feature. Thesis, critique, and weekly-recap analysis send aggregated statistics computed from your trades. The conversational coach ("Fabius") sends more than that: your individual coaching conversation history with it — both recent messages verbatim and compressed summaries of earlier ones — together with your display name, your individual trading statistics and detected behavioral patterns (for example revenge-trading, overtrading, or size-escalation patterns, your rulebook adherence, and your commitment and check-in records). This is your individual data, not anonymized or aggregated. Your password, broker or platform credentials, payment details, and email address are never sent.
Anthropic processes what we send as our service provider, under its own privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy. Fabius currently uses Anthropic's claude-haiku-4-5-20251001 model; we may change models within Anthropic without notice. We are in the process of accepting Anthropic's Data Processing Agreement; that acceptance will be in place before Fabius is activated for any user. See the Privacy Policy for the full processor disclosure.
AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or misleading, is provided for reflection only, is not advice, and must not be the basis of any trading decision. Daily usage quotas apply and may change.
12. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not: (a) share, resell, sublicense, or transfer your account or access; (b) scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-extract any part of the Service; (c) reverse engineer, decompile, or copy the Service or build a competing product from it; (d) probe, scan, or breach security or rate limits, or use another user's credentials; (e) upload malware or unlawful content, or content you lack rights to; (f) interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; (g) misrepresent your identity or affiliation; (h) use the Service in violation of any law, regulation, or any agreement you have with a broker, prop firm, or platform; or (i) use the Service to develop automated trading or order-routing systems. We may investigate violations and suspend or terminate offending accounts.
13. Intellectual property; feedback; DMCA
The Service — software, analytics, design, text, and branding — is owned by War Board and protected by intellectual-property law. You receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use it while your account is in good standing; all rights not granted are reserved. Feedback you provide may be used freely without obligation. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a DMCA notice to support@war-board.com including the statutory elements; we will respond as the law requires and may terminate repeat infringers.
14. Third-party services
The Service depends on third parties (hosting, payments, email, AI, broker/platform APIs, DNS). Their availability and conduct are outside our control, and links or integrations are not endorsements. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that party's terms.
15. Electronic communications
You consent to receive communications from us electronically — in-app and by email to your registered address — and agree that electronic notices satisfy any legal writing requirement. Transactional messages (verification, security, billing, service changes) are part of the Service and cannot be opted out of while your account exists.
One category is optional: the periodic AI coaching recap email. You can turn it off at any time in your account settings, or with the one-click unsubscribe link in the recap itself; turning it off does not affect your account or any other feature. Every other notice described above remains non-optional while your account exists.
16. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND ANY WARRANTY ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DATA SYNC WILL BE TIMELY OR COMPLETE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT ANY OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.
17. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (A) IN NO EVENT WILL WAR BOARD BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOST TRADING OPPORTUNITIES, TRADING LOSSES, FAILED EVALUATIONS, LOST OR BREACHED FUNDED ACCOUNTS, OR COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY; (B) OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (i) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM AND (ii) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100); AND (C) THESE LIMITS APPLY REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY AND EVEN IF A REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; where prohibited, these limits apply to the fullest extent permitted.
18. Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless War Board and its owner, contractors, and service providers from and against claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: your content or data; your use or misuse of the Service; your violation of these Terms or of any law; or your violation of any agreement with, or rule of, any broker, prop firm, platform, or exchange.
19. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in-app. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud or abuse, legal or security risk, or non-payment; and we may terminate for any other reason on 30 days' notice with a pro-rata refund of prepaid, unused fees in that case only. Upon termination your license ends; Sections 4–6, 10, 13, 16–22 survive. Account deletion permanently removes your trades and settings from active systems, subject to backup roll-off described in the Privacy Policy.
20. Governing law; dispute resolution; class waiver
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, excluding its conflicts rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at support@war-board.com and attempt informal resolution for 30 days. Except for small-claims matters and injunctive relief for IP or security, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by BINDING INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION in Wilmington, Delaware (or remotely by video at either party's election) before a single arbitrator administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect. YOU AND WAR BOARD EACH WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. You may opt out of this arbitration provision by written notice to support@war-board.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.
21. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time; we are not liable for modification or discontinuance, though Section 19's refund rule applies to paid termination by us. We may update these Terms; for material changes we will give at least 14 days' in-app or email notice, and continued use after the effective date is acceptance. The then-current Terms govern.
22. Miscellaneous
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Risk Disclosure Statement, and (if accepted) the Trade Copier Addendum are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements. If a provision is held unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization. We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control (including outages of hosting, data, broker, payment, or network providers). Notices to us go to support@war-board.com; notices to you go to your registered email or in-app.
23. Trade Copier Addendum (dormant — live copying is not currently offered)
This Addendum takes effect only if and when War Board offers live trade copying AND you separately opt in and accept it in-app. Until both occur, it has no effect and the copier operates in simulated practice mode only, which places no orders.
What live copying is — and is not. Live copying replicates orders you originate on one of your own connected accounts (the "leader") to other accounts you own (the "followers"), at ratios you configure. War Board originates no trading decisions: every copied order derives from an order you placed. Live copying is not investment advice, not discretionary trading on your behalf, and not social or signal copying. Copying another person's account or trades is prohibited.
Your authorization and responsibilities. By enabling live copying you: (a) authorize War Board to transmit orders (place, modify, cancel, flatten) to your follower accounts as configured; (b) represent that every leader and follower account belongs to you; (c) represent that you have confirmed, for each account, that your firm, broker, and platform permit copying between your own accounts and permit this form of automation, and you accept sole responsibility for those rules including as they change; (d) agree to configure ratios, risk limits, and session windows yourself and keep them appropriate for each account's rules and size; and (e) agree to maintain independent, direct access to each broker/platform so you can manage or flatten positions yourself at all times, including during any Service outage.
Execution risks accepted. You accept every risk in Section 5 of the Risk Disclosure Statement, including slippage, latency, outages, partial fills, rejections, divergence, sizing errors, and rule breaches at copy speed. Copied orders can fill at prices materially worse than the leader's; an outage can leave follower positions open and unmanaged; kill switches and risk gates are best-effort software features, not guarantees; open positions during any failure remain live at the broker and are yours to manage.
Risk gates are informational. The copier consults War Board's rule engine before transmitting follower orders and may block or halt activity it estimates would risk a rule breach. These gates rely on the same delayed, estimated data described in Section 4, may lag, mis-estimate, or fail, and create no duty or warranty. A blocked order is not advice; an unblocked order is not a safety confirmation.
Fees; availability. Live copying may carry separate fees, disclosed before you enable it. We may condition, limit, suspend, or discontinue live copying at any time — per account, per firm, or entirely. The disclaimers and liability limits of Sections 16–18 apply fully to live copying, including trading losses, rule breaches, slippage, and execution differences, whether caused by software error, data error, latency, outage, or otherwise.
